DAILY SKINCARE ROUTINES FOR ALL SKIN TYPE (PART 2)
DAILY SKIN CARE TIP #4: MOISTURIZE
It’s very important to use moisturizer twice a day, even if you have oily skin. In any daily skin care routine, moisturizing is the super-important finisher. It will help protect your skin from losing moisture. A not – so-great moisturizer is likely to leave the skin tight and dry, and breakouts may occur as your skin attempts to adjust. Look out for ingredients like Vitamin E, Glycerin, Pro-Vitamin B5, and Borage Seed Oil, which are all great moisturizers for your skin.
DAILY SKIN CARE TIP #5: APPLY BROAD-SPECTRUM SUNSCREEN
Sun protection is a routine for skin care. Use a wide-spectrum sunscreen after moisturizer in the morning with a SPF of 15 or higher but before applying makeup. Sunscreen protects your skin in its most important position from the damaging ultraviolet rays of the sun that come in two types of UVA and UVB rays. Both UVA and UVB rays are carcinogens (causing cancer), which is why you should invest in a sunscreen that provides protection against both kinds. Even if you have darker skin or tan instead of burning, skin cancer is non-discriminatory and can be diagnosed for any age, gender, or type of skin. In other respects as well, sunscreen keeps your skin healthier. It protects delicate skin from sunburn, reducing the appearance of sun damage, discoloration and dark spots, leathery or sagging skin, and wrinkles. These protections assist your skin to keep generally a more even skin tone.
DAILY SKIN CARE TIP #6: Mask & exfoliate
A deep-cleaning clay mask is perfect if your skin is a little oily, as well as helping to reduce pores and eliminate impurities and dead skin cells. Regular exfoliation is a significant component of body acne and inflamed pores prevention and treatment. To help prevent bacteria, sweat, and dust from being trapped under the skin surface, you should remove these dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. When exfoliating, we like to pay special attention to our hairline around our neck and ears, as skin care products and make-up can build up here sometimes.
And you’ve got it there: you can follow a skin care routine every day. It won’t take hours and one thing is certain-when you have these basics sorted it will be easy-peasy.
